With COVID-19’s Delta variant causing case counts to spike, beginning September 1st we will request proof of vaccination or negative PCR COVID test for indoor events.  We will also be checking temperatures at the door.  We ask those who can’t provide proof of vaccination to remain masked.

Our priority is and will always be the safety of our venues, volunteers, poets, and guests.  As we move into the fall, with our unpredictable weather, we suggest being ready for the show to be moved indoors.  A printed copy or a photo on your phone of your vaccination card or PCR test will suffice as long as the name is visible and it matches your ID.  We continue to have disposable masks available at the door if you need one.

If you have concerns or questions about our policies, please reach out to us at [email protected]

We are not healthcare professionals. We are poets and volunteers, and we look forward to the day our greater community reaches a 70-80% vaccination rate to help make these event-level decisions easier. All pf our events will continue to have a hybrid component and we encourage remote participation! Please practice patience and be kind to our volunteers and venues while we implement this new policy. Thank you for your caring about our poetry community- We are in this together.
